Prerequisite: STA 2023 This course provides an overview of methods and tools for planning and controlling the production and distribution of goods and services. Topics include forecasting, production planning, inventory management, and other functions necessary to properly allocate, evaluate and manage resources in supply chain processes. Managers in both manufacturing and service inter-organizational systems need to understand these topics in order to increase firm value by reducing costs and required assets while at the same time maintaining or increasing output, quality and customer service.
