Prerequisite: At least two women's-studies core courses. Corequisite: Permission from the program director. This senior seminar examines how cultures structure and represent gender in a variety of arenas. Through critical reading of key contemporary works of feminist theory and intensive investigation of multidisciplinary case studies, students study the variety of representations of woman's experience.
