Prerequisite: JPN 2220. May not be taken by native speakers. This course is designed to give students an opportunity not only to strengthen their knowledge of basic Japanese, but to gain better insight into the structure of modern Japanese. Through graded exercises students are taught to write sophisticated Japanese. May not be taken concurrently with JPN 1120, 1121 and/or 2220.
