Textual studies of the most important authors of the Italian literary tradition. Authors may vary. At times the course devoted to single author: Dante, Boccaccio, Pirandello; or, two or three authors studies together in the context of the culture of their time or of their influence on subsequent centuries or authors: Petrarch and Petrarchist phenomenon of the sixteenth century, Morante and the historical novel, Machiavelli and Vico.
