Biological, cultural, behavioral, and social arenas of human development throughout the human life span, with emphasis on the comparison of socially constructed age groups. Examination of age groups in terms of their unique ethical values and challenges, as well as the social dilemmas caused by the extension of life expectancy. Psychosocial development between (1) men and women, (2) African-Americans, Hispanics, Asians, and Caucasians, and (3) different socioeconomic strata.
