Development of advanced proficiency with particular emphasis on speaking and writing. Through analysis of literary and nonliterary texts, excursions, museums, films, theater performances, students gain in-depth knowledge of various aspects of German culture and society. Advanced grammar review, vocabulary building, oral presentations, as well as a variety of writing assignments. Taught only in the Berlin program. Prerequisite: German 66, 67, 69, or equivalent.
