Development and refinement of skills needed to read and translate intermediate to advanced academic German. Texts selected by instructor, with regular opportunities to work on materials related to individual fields/research topics. Selected readings in theory of translation and techniques. Prerequisite: German 201. Not open for credit to undergraduate students who have taken Intermediate German (65, 66, 69, or equivalent).
