Emphasis on American educational issues in the context of the emerging global economy with a focus on how policies affect various cultural groups due to economic, social, cultural, or gender diversity. Exploration of the ethical dimensions that decision makers must face in formulating policy. Investigation of the ways technological innovation is changing schools and the teaching/learning process.
