Spatial and temporal analysis of geology of south Florida. Includes class discussions, required spring break field trip to South Florida, trip presentation, post-trip research paper. Examination of shallow marine sedimentary environments including reefs, mudbanks, and mangrove forests and islands, and their ancient counterparts in rock outcrops and sediment cores.
