This course is designed to introduce students to the various techniques available to effectively conserve and transfer wealth. The various topics covered in this course include trusts, wills, probate, charitable giving and advanced directives. An emphasis is placed on developing an understanding of the underlying financial, non-financial, legal and tax aspects associated with the estate planning process.
