This course is a study in English of selected cultures for which Spanish is the primary language of discourse. It connects students to the growth, development, and current features of the societies under consideration- including their geographical, intellectual, artistic, social, literary, and political dimensions. Special emphasis will be placed on the twentieth century and cross-cultural comparisons. Pre-requisites: Minimum of 60 semester hours, including completion of the General Studies core requirements in English, Social Sciences, and Humanities.
