This course provides intensive oral work with Spanish. A strong focus will be placed on topics of current interest. The reading of cultural and literary texts, Spanish periodicals and newspapers will be expected preparation for classroom discussion. Viewing Spanish television broadcasts and listening to weekly Spanish radio programs are required. Prerequisite: SPA 2312 or placement by examination.
