Through this course the major components of the middle school and secondary school physical education curriculums will be explored. Students will continue to build methodological knowledge and to refine teaching skills. Emphasis will be placed on the characteristics of the learner, evaluating teacher effectiveness and individualization of program content. In addition, knowledge and skill content of motor activities commonly present in middle/secondary schools will be reviewed. Practicum required. Prerequisite: Admittance to Teacher Education.
