This course is designed to assist students in understanding the research process. Emphasis is placed upon the nurse as a research consumer and enhancement of her/his ability to participate in the research process. Opportunities will be provided for critical appraisal of research studies, and for the design of plans for investigating nursing problems. Prerequisites: NUR 2302, NUR 2311, NUR 2501, or special permission.
