This course is a practical approach for the choral director. Arranging for groups of varied voices (e.g., treble, male, junior high with boys' changing voices, etc.); rewriting parts to fit voices available; writing descants; reducing and expanding the number of parts; and writing instrumental accompaniments or obligations. Use of the music computer laboratory and software will be included in assignments. (Two hours per week.)
