This course is structured to give students a basic understanding of the educational and creative value of electronic compositional procedures. In addition to offering a review of representative literature, the course will require students to compose using natural and electronic sound sources. This course is open to music and non-music majors. Prerequisite: MUS 1301 or MUS 2290 and permission of the instructor. (Three hours per week.)
