This course contains lectures, dialogues, and readings in mathematical topics in order to reinforce the knowledge and skills learned in core courses thus far. This course provides the opportunity for students to look at applications and problems in order to prepare for proficiency and licensure exams such as the GRE or first actuarial exam. The students will be asked to read journal articles and give summary presentations in class. Prerequisite: MAT 4311.
