This course is designed to enable students to acquire a broad knowledge of the literature of the Third World (particularly Africa, the Caribbean, and South America) as articulated by its writers. Emphasis will be placed on critical analysis and appreciation of selected works as well as on discussion of the societies and cultures that they represent. Prerequisites: ENG 2301 and junior status.
