Business internship offers students the opportunity to prepare for their chosen careers by combining academic theory and actual work experience during the time they are enrolled in the university. Students engage in supervised experiences in business, industry or government. Interns are evaluated by the employersupervisor and by the university director. Student-written critiques of their experiences are required. The final responsibility for academic grading rests with the university director. The number of credit hours earned depends upon the nature of the learning experience and the amount of time spent on the job. Prerequisites: senior standing and approval of the director of interns of the School of Business and Economics.
