This course provides the theory and clinical laboratory application of immunological concepts as they relate and apply to the processing and administering of blood components for transfusion. (Two two-hour lectures per week and two two-hour laboratories per week). Prerequisites: BIO 4423 or CLS 2401 and acceptance into the professional phase of the CLS program.
