This course is designed to enable the student to master those skills needed by persons who provide care for children ages birth to 18 months. Learning activities and motivational techniques which promote the development of each child are emphasized. Techniques: reading, lecture, audio-visual presentation, discussion, observation. Prerequisite: Approval of department chair.
