The physical aspects and principles of theoretical chemistry will be studied in this introductory course. Emphasis will be placed on fundamental laws governing matter in the gaseous state, and the laws of thermodynamics and their applications to chemistry. (Three lecture hours per week). Prerequisite: MAT 2318. Co-requisite: CHE 4111.
