This laboratory course provides detailed instructions on the performance of many methods and techniques used in traditional biotechnology industries. Acceptable laboratory practices are discussed. Biochemical and recombinant DNA technologies are emphasized. (2 three-hour laboratory periods per week.) Prerequisites: BIO 1401, CHE 2112, and CHE 2312 for traditional students. Permission of the Chair for non-traditional students.
