This course will provide practical experience in the variety of clinical biochemistry tests performed in the clinical laboratory. The student will be able to put the theoretical knowledge to practical use. Emphasis will be placed on technique, accuracy, timing, nature of biochemicals and the strict use of quality-control measures. (Forty hours per week for three weeks at the clinical affiliate laboratory.) Prerequisites: CLS 3404 and senior in the CLS program.
