This computer course builds upon ART 2311 and includes the fundamentals of 3-D modeling and computer animation. Students will study advanced imaging techniques such as metaclay modeling, deformation, and morphing. Special effects imaging techniques are introduced. The course will also focus on shape, wave, flock, animation, and data capture with channels. Rendering technique, inverse kinematics' skeleton, and dynamic simulation will also be studied. Prerequisite: ART 2311. (Five hours per week)
