CLS 4402 - Clinical Micro Practicum

This course allows the student to apply the knowledge from clinical microbiology, mycology and parasitology in a clinical laboratory. The students will work at the bench in a clinical lab for 40 hours a week. They will identify pathogenic organisms, perform antimicrobial susceptibility testing and perform quality control procedures. Prerequisites CLS 3402, CLS 2403, CLS 4204, CLS 3203 and senior in the CLS program.
