This studio course utilizes live models to help students understand the vast range of lines, shapes, forms, textures, colors, values, rhythms, and gestures that exist within the universal microcosm of the human form. Students will use a variety of materials and techniques, and exercises will range from quick gesture drawings to fully developed anatomical studies to personal aesthetic statements inspired by the human figure. Prerequisite: ART 1312. (Five hours per week)
