A colloquium designed around a problem in Latin American history, requiring reading, discussion, reports, and a major paper. Cross-listed as HIS 4323 Special Topics in Latin America. Students may not receive credit for both AAS 4323 and HIS 4323. Pre-requisites: For AAAS majors, AAS 2301 Introduction to Africa, African American Studies, AAS 3354 Modern Latin America, and senior status.
