This is a course in which the basic principles of parasitism are stressed. Collection and preparation of parasitic protozoans, helminthes and arthropods for detailed study are emphasized in the laboratory. (2 lectures and 2 two-hour laboratory periods per week.) Prerequisite: BIO 1401.
