This course focuses on the health care of the individual and the family in the home, and the application of the nursing process to population aggregates in the community. Experiences in the application of community health nursing concepts in a variety of community settings are provided. Course includes 84 clinical hours. Prerequisites: NURS 216, 351/353, 352, 357, 363, and all required liberal studies and science courses. Pre- or corequisites: NURS 453 and 455. 6 semester hours
