This course focuses upon the child, infancy through adolescence, within a family system. Content is presented to provide the student with the knowledge and skills needed to apply the nursing process in activities directed toward assisting in the health promotion and health restoration of children and adolescents. Students will provide care to children and adolescents in a variety of settings, including hospitals and primary care centers. Course includes 84 clinical hours. Prerequisite: Successful completion of NURS 350, 351/353, and 352. 6 semester hours
