In this class, students examine significant works from African Americans, Asian Americans, Chicano/as, Native Americans, and others. Studied writers include Zora Neale Hurston, June Jordan, Maxine Hong Kingston, M. Scott Momaday, Simon Ortiz, and Alberto Rios. 3 semester hours
