			This course covers basic elements of cell and molecular biology, microbiology, and human anatomy and physiology. Specific topics include basic eukaryotic and prokaryotic cell structure, bioenergetics, gene expression and regulation, mechanisms of antibiotic action, microbial fermentation reactions, waste water microbiology, and the structure and function of four major human organ systems: nervous, muscular, cardiovascular and respiratory.
