Faculty A historical survey of the origin, growth and development of 20th century Western Theatrical Dance. The course will focus on the forces, processes and personalities that influenced dance during this time. Students will develop a critical understanding of the major trends in the development of dance in the twentieth century, as well as examining these trends in relation to their socio-political context. Prerequisite: DANC 100. Four hours per week. Four semester hours. (A, D.)
