Faculty An examination of modern European economic and political systems and the different ways in which various European countries have sought to preserve social stability, promote economic prosperity and guarantee democracy in the post-WWII period. The course also focuses on European integration and democratization in Southern and Eastern Europe. Prerequisite: POL-242 or permission of the instructor. Three hours per week. Four semester hours.
