Dr. Kane Study of the patterns of government and politics in the Caribbean, and Latin America and of the views of democracy held by Latin American political leaders and theorists. Mexico will be used as a point of departure with each student researching one additional assigned country. Prerequisite: POL-242 or consent of the instructor. Three hours per week.
