Dr. Florka, Dr. Goetz An introductory examination of many of the central issues in philosophy. Among the topics that may be discussed are: free will and determinism, skepticism about knowledge, the existence of God, the nature of the mind and its relation to the body, the ground of moral judgment, and the relation of language and thought to each other and to the world.
