Faculty The theory and practice of translation. The course will cover different types of translation: literary, technical, advertising, from English to Spanish and vice versa. It will have a class project consisting of the translation of a short novel, a play, a collection of short stories or the subtitling of a film. Prerequisites: SPAN-328, or permission of the instructor. Three hours per week. Four semester hours.
