Dr. Lucas, Dr. Novack A selection of major French writers from the Middle Ages to the present. Special attention will be given to the socio-cultural context from which their narratives emerged. Students will also be introduced to literaryanalysis and to formal writing. Prerequisite: FREN-201 or permission of the instructor. Four hours per week. Four semester hours. (H, L.)
