Dr. Greason A detailed, comparative study of the African diasporas across both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans after 1400. Topics to be covered may include, among others, the varieties of human slavery, African cultures on the continent, in India, the Caribbean, Latin America, Canada, Western Europe, and the United States, religious and linguistic diversity among global Africans, Pan-Africanism, and negritude.
