Dr. Wailgum The effect of nutritional supplements, performance enhancing drugs, and common over-the-counter/ prescription drugs on human performance will be the focus of this course. Students will examine the relationship between an ergogenic aid's benefits versus its adverse health side effects. Students will also explore the ethical implications pertaining to the use of ergogenic aids in sports. Prerequisite: ESS-100. Two hours per week. Two semester hours. ( Offered spring semesters.)
