Dr. Greason A detailed analysis of the diversity of the African continent since 1400. Topics to be covered may include, among others, the empires of West Africa, African slavery and the transatlantic slave trade, the Dutch and British Cape Colony, European colonization, and the independence movements of the twentieth century.
