Dr. Borsdorf This course will provide students the opportunity to openly examine a variety of grief and loss situations and to learn strategies to better cope with such events. Cross-cultural studies emphasizing non-Western cultures will be utilized to study the various types of decisions healthcare professionals and laypersons choose relative to coping with death, dying, other types of losses, and bereavement. Three hours per week. Four semester hours. (Offered even year spring semesters.) ( G.)
