Dr. Borsdorf This course will provide students the opportunity to openly examine a variety of grief and loss situations and to learn strategies to better cope with such events. Cross-cultural studies emphasizing non-Western cultures will be utilized to study the various types of decisions healthcare professionals and laypersons choose relative to coping with death, dying, other types of losses, and bereavement.
