Faculty This course will focus on how the diverse needs of individuals with educational disabilities/differences can be met within the classroom environment. The philosophy of this course asserts that there are many forms of diversity and exceptionalities including linguistic, behavioral, and cognitive differences. The course emphasizes working with families and school specialists and personalizing learning according to individual development in order to support English Language Learners and students with special needs. Field experience required. Prerequisite: EDUC-202 and ED/PSYC-265 or permission of instructor. Three hours per week. Four semester hours. (SS, D.)
