Dr. Economopoulos, Dr. O'Neill Econometric methods used in analyzing business and economic data, including hypothesis testing, trend analysis, and forecasting of behavioral decisions by consumers and firms. Topics include the specification, estimation and verification of multiple regression and time series models. Laboratory experience includes SAS statistical software usage. A research paper presenting original data analysis is required. Prerequisites: BE-220, BE-211, and a grade of C- or better in BE-220.. Three hours of lecture; two hours of laboratory per week.
