Prof. Camp To explore the expressive qualities of black & white photography as an art form, the student will learn the use of the camera and basic darkroom techniques. The student will learn how to see photographically through a study of contemporary and historical photography, as well as through practical exercises. Students are expected to develop a portfolio of work outside the class meetings. Intended for freshmen and sophomores. Three hours per week plus extensive individual work. Four semester hours.
