Topics include the neural and hormonal basis of behavior, orientation mechanisms, biological clocks, animal communication, learning, sociobiology, genetics of behavior, and the evolution of behavior. Prerequisite: BIO-201W; or permission of the instructor. Three hours of lecture per week. Three semester hours. (LS if taken with BIO-232a.)
