Designed to help the student develop analytical skills through exposure to a variety of problem solving techniques utilizing algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and other areas of precalculus mathematics. Includes graphing calculator and instructional software applications. For students pursuing secondary or middle school teacher certification in mathematics. (To ensure timely progress toward the degree, this course should be taken as soon as the prerequisites have been completed.) Prerequisites: Mathematics 1361 and 1362; or Mathematics 1302, 1303, and 1321; or equivalent.
