A study of social, emotional, physical, moral and cognitive development of the adolescent; course provides a brief overview of human lifespan development with primary course emphasis on scientific research and theory concerning the adolescent as learner. Course meets human development requirement for middle grades and secondary education majors. A field experience is required. Credit, 3 semester hours.
