Hamiltonian operator and Schroedinger equation, harmonic oscillator, matrix formulation of quantum mechanics, uncertainty principle, potential barrier problems, and the hydrogen atom. Prerequisites: MATH 3323; PHYS 3312, 3320, and six additional hours of advanced physics.
